Simon Baynes, the Member of Parliament for Clwyd South, has welcomed the news this week that OBR Construction have now been appointed to complete the works on Llangollen’s Four Great Highways.
Work will recommence in February and is now due to be completed by June of this year. The £3.8 million project, which is being financed through the UK government’s £13.3 million Clwyd South Levelling Up Fund that Mr Baynes secured in conjunction with Wrexham County Borough Council and Denbighshire County Council, will enhance how residents and tourists travel in and around Llangollen. Mr Baynes has stated that he looks forward to seeing its completion.
