Simon Baynes MP in Animals (Low-Welfare Activities Abroad) Bill 170323

I spoke in support of the Animals (Low-Welfare Activities Abroad) Bill, for which I sat on the Bill Committee, in Parliament on Friday 17th March. The Bill has the backing of the RSPCA and World Animal Protection, and as a Welsh MP, I hope the Welsh Senedd will follow suit in banning the advertising and sale of tourist experiences abroad which are conducted in such a way that involves the low welfare treatment of animals.

It is an honour to back this Bill, which will be of great benefit to animal welfare around the world, and it has my wholehearted support.
