Member of Parliament for Clwyd South, Simon Baynes MP, recently visited Vintage Home Styles Emporium, located on London Road in Corwen.
On Friday 27th May 2022, Mr Baynes met with the owner, Carole Derbyshire-Styles, and with Dan Nuttall to learn more about the business and see the items on offer at the vintage and antiques shop.
After 7 years on the High Street, Carole moved her previous business Vintage Home Styles to become Vintage Home Styles Emporium at the London Road premises. The business offers a wide range of antique, vintage and modern furniture and other items, with the business placing a particular emphasis on sustainability through recycling and re-using. They rent out 20 antique and vintage units within the shop and also rooms to personal trainer Ollie Crimp and to beautician Kayleigh Hancock. They also provide space for local craftspeople to display and sell their work.
Carole Derbyshire-Styles said:
“It was a pleasure to meet Simon, we appreciate the time he took to visit us. We are grateful for his support with planning and signage. The acknowledgement he has given to us as a small business is greatly appreciated”.

“It was great to visit Vintage Home Styles Emporium and to meet with Carole and Dan. During my visit, I was able to learn more about their business and the strong emphasis that is placed on sustainability and supporting local business and crafts people. Their beautiful shop is becoming a destination in Corwen in itself and they spread the word to visitors about the attractions and places to visit locally. I would like to wish Carole, Dan and the rest of the team at Vintage Home Styles Emporium all the very best for the future”.
