At the recent AGM of the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for Woods & Trees I was delighted to congratulate Trudy Harrison MP on succeeding me by being elected as the new Chair of the APPG. It has been an honour to serve as Chair and I look forward to continuing my involvement as Vice-Chair for the rest of this parliament.
As the excellent and inspirational former DEFRA Minister with responsibility for trees, Trudy brings great knowledge and passion to her role as Chair and I know she will be expertly supported by The Woodland Trust who are the Secretariat for the APPG.
