Member of Parliament for Clwyd South, Simon Baynes MP, has welcomed the launch of a pilot scheme project to help build job skills, delivered by Denbighshire County Council through its Working Denbighshire team.
Project Ready is funded by the UK Government’s Community Renewal Fund and will support people aged 16 to 35 who are finding it difficult to find employment due to low confidence, mental health issues or disabilities. The project will provide a range of help including one to one specialist advice and support, work related education, personal and social skills training, basic skills and group activities.
Simon Baynes MP said:
“I am delighted to hear of the pilot scheme, Project Ready, which has been funded by the UK Government’s Community Renewal Fund to assist those who are finding it difficult to get into work. This will be of great benefit to local people and communities across Denbighshire and will provide excellent support to help each individual receive the advice and support they need to enter employment”.
